陶芸家の晩餐

The Artisan’s Dinner

A one-night-only kaiseki for just eight guests, supervised by Takashi Nakazato, a leading potter of Karatsu ware, and served on vessels made for this evening by the ceramic artists Noriyuki and Akari Furutani. The cooking is by the chefs of Godan Miyazawa in Kyoto, bringing vessel, cuisine and setting together into a singular dining experience.

Godan Miyazawaごだん宮ざわ

One of Kyoto's most revered kaiseki houses, Godan Miyazawa carries on the lineage of cha-kaiseki, the meal served within the tea ceremony: Kyoto vegetables and fish from trusted fishermen, lightly seasoned so each ingredient speaks — a subtractive aesthetic. Enjoy a one-night-only dining experience where the sensibilities of the cuisine's and the tableware's makers meet.
